Many of you know that I embarked on the Hormone Diet Detox and discovered that I am a little bit sensitive to gluten. While I have not totally banished it from my life, I try to limit my intake as much as I can.
I sought out to find bloggers who talk about gluten free living to help me learn about how these intolerances can affect other people. I also wanted to find new ideas for recipes for my own cooking and baking.
Here are three of my favourites that I have found on my journey.

My 7 Links
Following in the footsteps of my friend Amber @ Girl with the Red Hair, I have not actually been "nominated" to participate in this, but I thought it would be fun to share :)
THE GOAL
To unite bloggers (from all sectors) in a joint endeavor to share lessons learned and create a bank of long but not forgotten blog posts that deserve to see the light of day again.
THE RULES
1) Blogger is nominated to take part (Ooops)
2) Blogger publishes his/her 7 links on his/her blog – 1 link for each category.
This shouldn’t take you long to do – don’t over-think it!
- Your most beautiful post
– Your most popular post
– Your most controversial post
– Your most helpful post
– A post whose success surprised you
– A post you feel didn’t get the attention it deserved
– The post that you are most proud of
3) Blogger nominates up to 5 more bloggers to take part.

Chocolate Malt Cupcakes with Malted Buttercream Icing
Remember last week when I was in the mood for something in between healthy and decedent and I baked up those lovely Gluten Free Carrot Cupcakes?
Well, this past weekend was all about the extreme....extreme indulgence. For another child's birthday, no less.
My nephew, Bradley.

At Home vs. Fitness Club Workout
Hope you had a great weekend, friends!
I celebrated my nephew's 1st birthday with lots of cupcakes (but you are going to have to wait until later in the week for the recipe :)
This morning, I subbed my last spinning class and it was a blast!

My 3 Favourite Weight Training Blogs
Many women shy away from weight training.
I have heard all of the reasons. "I don't want to get bulky." "Cardio is better to help me lose weight." "I don't have time." And the list goes on.
The truth is that we ALL need to incorporate strength training into our workouts to increase our metabolism, increase our muscular endurance and decrease our risk of injury.
Here are a few of my favourite bloggers who offer fantastic weight training advice and workout routines for women of all ages and abilities.

Move of the Month: The Bicycle
It is going to be scorcher in Southern Ontario today so try to keep cool and stay hydrated.
I know it has been way too long since I have featured a Move of the Month, but it is back in full effect.
I am meeting with my good friend (and photographer) Christine next week to review the 400 + promotional photos she took for me and many of them are of different exercises just for you!
She was kind enough to give me a sneak peak of some of the pics, including the one I am sharing today :)
In light of the #Fitblog Abs Challenge, I thought it would be fitting this month to feature a killer exercise for the core: The bicycle.
This exercise is arguably one of the best abdominal exercise your can do as it incorporate your obliques, upper and lower abs.

Healthy Makeover: Gluten Free Vegan Carrot Cupcakes with Cream Cheese Frosting
I love cupcakes.
And there are certainly times when I just need a sugary treat, like my Coconut Cupcakes with Cream Cheese Frosting.
There are other times when I want a lightened up version like my Strawberry Coconut or my Cinnamon Raisin Cupcakes.
Then there are times when I want something in between: Enter the carrot cupcake.

Spending Time with Yourself
Happy Monday, friends!
I hope you had a fantastic weekend. I was home alone and took full advantage of the time to relax.
Exhibit A: Me in my PJ's at 9pm on a Saturday night.
Everyone needs down time. After a hectic week of working, school, kids or whatever else keeps you busy, sometimes you just need to spend some quality time with yourself.

My 3 Favourite Running Blogs
I have finally admitted that I am a runner. However, I have found myself looking to other activities lately to add some variety to my workouts, like Turbo Fire and Aqua Fitness.
I still like to run, just not as often as I used too. I go through phases when it come to exercise and I am sure the time will come when I will be running more often.
That being said, I still like to read blogs about running, training and races. Here are a few of my faves for your reading pleasure.

Exercise Review: Turbo Fire Sculpt 30 and Tone 30
I am still all over the Turbo Fire workouts!
Today, it is all about the muscle. I am going to review the two todal body conditioning workouts.
I have to admit that I just discovered Tone 30. I have been doing Sculpt 30 for a few weeks now and didn't even realize that there was another full body option.

Vanilla Cake with Buttercream Icing and Coconut Cupcakes with Cream Cheese Frosting
Balance.
The universe is working very hard to make sure we have it. Hot and cold. Dark and light. Up and down. Healthy and indulgent.
OK, I added that last one.
While I love to give some of my favourite desserts a healthy makeover, sometimes you just have to go all out with a sugar and fat filled dessert that you can sink your teeth into.
Like for a child's first birthday.
I was given the task of making a birthday cake for my niece's birthday and immediately decided that this was no time for makeovers.
I made not one, but two, sinfully delicious desserts that are perfect for any special occasion. (Even if that occasion is "just because" :)

My 3 Favourite Blogs for Fitness Professionals
Happy Friday, friends! It looks like it is going to be a beautiful weekend.
I a heading up north to the cottage again (I am a lucky girl) to celebrate my neice's birthday.
Over the last few weeks, I have been giving some love to my fellow bloggers and sharing some of my favouites. Today, I wanted to feature some blogs geared towards fitness professionals.
These sites give great advice on how to build a better business. (Even though they are fitness focused, some of the information could apply to any brand or business, so check them out :)

Guest Post: Quick and Easy Veggie Pasta
Hi everyone!
My name is Stacy and I blog about delicious vegetarian food and also teach busy people to fit healthy habits into their hectic lives without deprivation as a board-certified Holistic Health Coach.
While I absolutely agree that physical activity is a huge part of our overall health (along with our career, relationships, finances, and spirituality), my personal focus is on food.
One of the things I work on with my health coaching clients is incorporating more fruits, vegetables and whole grains into their diets. We avoid drastic changes and start small by adding fruits and veggies into dishes they already eat. An easy place to start is with pasta, and I want to share a simple weeknight meal with you that shows you what I mean.

The Toronto Ribfest on Canada Day Weekend
Happy Canada Day!
In honour of the holiday, I thought a fun, celebratory post was in order.
Yesterday, it was a beautiful day so I decided to kick it off the long weekend at the Toronto Ribfest.
