I hope everyone is enjoying their holiday and getting the opportunity to spend time with family and friends. Don't sweat it if you over indulge a little. Remember: One day isn't going to make or break your diet, it is the healthy choices that we make over time.
This week I am giving away some of my secrets! I would like to share some really useful wellness resources and why I love them. Hopefully they will help you in your quest for health!
Stay Well,
Tracy

Get Fit After Baby
How do you get in shape after baby? How do you find time to get in shape with baby? That might be a better question :) Upon request, I am going to share 5 tips on how to get back into action and rediscover your pre-pregnancy body!
Start Slowly
Your body has gone though many changes over the past year and it is important to ease back into a regular exercise routine. Listen to your body and your doctor. Most physicians will say you are ready to go 6-8 weeks after the baby is born. Start with an easy activity such as walking to see how you body has adapted and changed.
Make a Splash
Water workouts are a great way to get back into fitness. They are easy on your joints and can be very therapeutic. You can sign up for a "Mommy & Me" class at your local community centre and bond with baby or if you want to go solo, jump into a aquatic fitness class.
Cha Cha Cha
There is a wonderful program called "Salsa Babies". You learn to do salsa with baby is tow. I had the opportunity to get a taste of this class (without a baby) and it was so much fun and a great workout to boot. If you don't have this specific program in your area, look for any dance class that you think you might enjoy.
Moving Mommies
Workout with another new mom (or moms). Go online and look for exercise groups for new moms or chat with some of your friends. Set up times and days to meet with and without the little ones. Share your struggles, successes and help support each other in your quest for health.
Positive Attracts Positive
It can be very difficult to get back into a exercise routine with a new baby and perhaps some other little one at home so remember to stay focused. Surround yourself with positive friends and family to help support you reach your goals. Don't let negative people bring your down!
