No, I haven't forgotten about my beloved Inspiration Board. I am just doing things a little differently this year.
You may recall that last year, I revisited my board on a monthly basis as this can be a very helpful way to stay on track. The only problem was, that is wasn't very helpful for me.
I have mentioned many times, that I work best day-by-day and week-to-week. Live in the now, with your eye on the prize. So instead of monthly check-in, I decided to reflect on my board at the 6 month mark.
Here is what I realized:
- I haven't looked a my board in over a month and I am really glad I did today. It made me smile.
- The board is really full of images and ideas that, well, inspire rather than goals. (And that is okay with me).
- It reminded me of a few things that I would like to focus on more (i.e. writing and getting some additional certifications).
- I could use a vacation.
- Change IS good.
How often do you look at your Inspiration Board and/or change it? Did you find my monthly check-ins helpful?
Stay Healthy,
Tracy
Well, I didn't make a board but I did set some resolutions of sorts. I haven't considered them much in months, and need to. In doing so I need to look at them from a more inspiring approach.
